The pianist/vocalist Francesca Tandoi is one of the most interesting talents in the international jazz scene.
His performances have been called “an explosion of swing” and his pianism energetic and elegant at the same time. With the trio formation hosts Eleonora Strino, young but already established guitarist, welcomed as a breath of change in a scenario that was waiting for a long time an interpreter of six strings like her: inspired, musically educated, technically prepared.
Pianist and singer is critically acclaimed as one of the emerging jazz stars and one of the most surprising young talents in the jazz scene. Studied singing and piano at the Hague Conservatory, graduating with honours.
“Francesca Tandoi has some impressive piano skills,” writes the Dutch magazine JazzFlits.
The jazz journalist Massimo Tarabelli places her among the best young virtuosi swing pianisti: “It’s incredible that a person like Francesca exists”, “She is brilliant, superior and a true talent”.
He has collaborated with great artists such as Scott Hamilton.
In the trio he finds his favorite pattern, with Stefano Senni and Giovanni Campanella has recorded seven albums. Alongside her career as a performer, Francesca travels the world giving masterclasses on the Art of Arrangement for piano trio.
Francesca currently teaches at the G. Martini Conservatory in Bologna.
