Sergio Di Gennaro, jazz pianist, began his professional career at 20 years old and since then he has played and collaborated with international excellences such as Dusko Goykovich, Scott Hamilton, Denise King, Lauren Henderson, Wayne Escoffery, Jim Rotondi, Barry Finnerty, Tony Match, Ronald Baker, Raynald Colom and the great names of Italian jazz from Gianni Basso to Enrico Rava, Fabrizio Bosso, Max Ionata, Emanuele Cisi, Scott Hamilton, Roberta Gambarini, Flavio Boltro, Jim Rotondi, Wayne Escoffery, Lauren Henderson, Sylvia Sanders, Furio Di Castri, Enzo Zirilli, Ares Tavolazzi, Fulvio Albano, Riccardo Fioravanti, Luciano Milanese, Aldo Zunino, Adam Pache and many others.
For his multifaceted style, but always personal, linked to tradition but with the gaze always turned to the present, Sergio Di Gennaro is required both as a pianist in modern jazz contexts as well as traditional jazz, performing in various forms of live jazz from the orchestra to the trio up to the piano solo.
He has performed, as well as in Italy, on the stages of prestigious clubs and festivals in France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Romania, Greece, Poland and the United States.
